Connect your eBay account
You sign in on eBay's own page, so no extension or password here. About a minute, on a computer or phone.
Connecting your eBay account lets Beat'em bring in your eBay listings, crosslist items to eBay and take items down there when they sell. It works for eBay's US, Canada, UK and Australia sites (ebay.com, ebay.ca, ebay.co.uk and ebay.com.au), and you can connect one eBay account. You don't need the Chrome extension or a password in Beat'em, and it works the same on a computer or a phone.
To start, go to Settings → Stores and press Connect next to eBay. There's no Beat'em window for eBay: instead, Beat'em sends you to eBay's own sign-in page, where you sign in and tell eBay that Beat'em may work with your account. Beat'em never sees your eBay password. eBay then brings you back to Settings → Stores.
Just signed up? Beat'em's setup has its own Connect eBay screen: press Continue to eBay and follow steps 2 and 3 below. eBay then brings you straight back to setup, and asks Which eBay site do you sell on? there if it needs to. If you left setup, press Continue on the Finish setting up card on your dashboard.
Connect eBay
Press Connect next to eBay. In the same tab, eBay's sign-in page opens.
On eBay's page, sign in with the eBay account you sell from. If eBay already knows you in this browser, it may skip straight to the next screen.
eBay then shows a screen asking whether Beat'em may access your eBay account. Agree to it. Nothing is connected until you do.
eBay sends you back to Settings → Stores in Beat'em. If you see Which eBay site do you sell on?, Beat'em couldn't tell your site because your eBay account has no live listings yet. Choose your site, for example United States (ebay.com), and press Save. The likely one is marked Suggested.
You're done when a green bar at the top of Settings → Stores says eBay connected as @yourname · importing your listings, and eBay shows Connected in the list, with a tag for its site (US, CA, UK or AU). Your listings then appear on your Items page as they come in, with Importing your listings and a count at the top. Most accounts take a few minutes. One with thousands of listings can take an hour or more, and you can keep using Beat'em meanwhile.
eBay lists every item with three saved settings it calls business policies: one each for shipping, payment and returns. If your eBay account hasn't switched them on yet, Settings → Stores shows Turn on business policies on eBay under your stores, with a button of the same name. Pressing it asks eBay to switch them on for your eBay account itself, which can take eBay up to 24 hours. On ebay.com, Beat'em can list with its own defaults until then. On ebay.ca, ebay.co.uk and ebay.com.au, Beat'em can't list until they're on.

You said no, or backed out, on eBay's page, so nothing was connected. Press Connect next to eBay again whenever you're ready.

"eBay connection failed — This is a different eBay account"
Beat'em already holds another eBay account for you, and you can have only one. If you meant to switch accounts, remove the old one first (see "I connected the wrong eBay account" below), then connect the new one.
"eBay connection failed — This eBay account (@…) is already linked to a different Beat'em account"
"eBay connection failed — This eBay account (@…) is already linked to a different Beat'em account"
Each eBay account can belong to only one Beat'em account, and this one is connected to another. Sign in to the Beat'em account that has it, or remove it there first.

"eBay connection failed" with any other message
Something went wrong between eBay and Beat'em before the connection finished, for example "The eBay sign-in didn't finish" or "Could not verify your eBay account". These messages show for a few seconds at the top of Settings → Stores, then fade. Press Connect next to eBay and go through eBay's page again. If the same message comes back, ask Buzz, as below.

Your eBay account stays connected, but Beat'em won't list on eBay until it knows your site. When you next crosslist to eBay, the crosslist window shows a Set up button: press it and the same question comes back.
The site tag on my eBay account is wrong
The site tag on my eBay account is wrong
The tag next to your eBay account in Settings → Stores (US, CA, UK or AU) is the site Beat'em lists on. You can't change it yourself yet: ask Buzz and press Contact support, and we'll switch it for you.

They're probably still coming in. Open your Items page: while it's working, the top says Importing your listings with a count. If Settings → Stores shows Import stopped next to your eBay account, press Try again.
I connected the wrong eBay account

You can have one eBay account in Beat'em, so remove the wrong one first. In Settings → Stores, press ⋯ next to eBay and choose Remove from Beat'em…, then Remove. This deletes that account's imported items and listings from Beat'em, but nothing changes on eBay, and your sales, costs and fees are kept. Beat'em does stay in your eBay account's list of connected apps until you remove it there. Then connect the right account with the steps above. If eBay signs you straight back in to the wrong account, sign out on ebay.com first.
I got an email: "Reconnect your eBay account"

eBay's permission for Beat'em ran out, so sale checks and automations for eBay are paused. Go to Settings → Stores, press Reconnect next to eBay and go through eBay's page again, as in the steps above. Everything picks up where it left off.
My eBay account says "Disconnected"
My eBay account says "Disconnected"
Either eBay's permission ran out, or someone pressed ⋯ → Disconnect. While it's disconnected, Beat'em doesn't check eBay for sales or run automations there. Press Reconnect next to eBay in Settings → Stores and sign in on eBay's page again.
Still stuck? Ask Buzz in Beat'em. If Buzz can't sort it out, press Contact support under Buzz's chat box and we'll reply by email, usually within a few hours.
