Connect your Poshmark closet
Use the Chrome extension or your Poshmark password. About 2 minutes.
Connecting your Poshmark closet lets Beat'em bring in your Poshmark listings, crosslist items to Poshmark and take items down there when they sell. Poshmark runs in the US (poshmark.com) and Canada (poshmark.ca), and you can connect one closet on each site. Selling from the UK or Australia? You can still connect a poshmark.com or poshmark.ca closet: its prices stay in US$ or CA$, and Beat'em converts them from your own currency.
To start, go to Settings → Stores and press Connect next to Poshmark. A Beat'em window called Connect Poshmark opens and shows you one step at a time. This guide follows the same steps.
Just signed up? Beat'em's setup connects your stores one at a time. On a computer it offers the Chrome extension, which connects Poshmark and Depop together on one screen. On a phone, Safari or Firefox it asks for your Poshmark username and password, with the site under the password box (press change to switch between Poshmark US and Canada). Selling from the UK or Australia? Setup only offers Poshmark if you ticked it when you signed up; otherwise connect it here in Settings → Stores. If you left setup, press Continue on the Finish setting up card on your dashboard.
Two ways to connect
The window asks How do you want to connect? If the extension is already added and linked in this browser, it skips this question and goes straight to step 4 of the extension way.
Chrome extension (recommended)
A free add-on for your browser. You log in to Poshmark as usual and the extension tells Beat'em, so you never type your password into Beat'em. Works however you log in to Poshmark, including with Google, Apple or Facebook. Needs Chrome, Edge or Brave on a computer.
Password
You type your Poshmark username and password into Beat'em, and Beat'em logs in to Poshmark for you. Only for accounts that have a Poshmark password, not ones that log in with Google, Apple or Facebook. Works on any device, including your phone.
Connect with the Chrome extension
In the Beat'em window, choose Chrome extension and press Continue.
You'll see Add the Beat'em extension. Press Add to Chrome. The Chrome Web Store opens in a new tab: press Add to Chrome there, then Add extension when your browser asks. Go back to the Beat'em tab and the window moves on by itself. If you already have the extension (for example, you connected Depop with it), you won't see this step.
If you see Link it to your account, click the Beat'em icon in the top right corner of your browser, next to the address bar. Can't see it? Click the puzzle-piece icon there and you'll find it in the list. In the small window that opens, press Connect. Most people never see this step, because Beat'em links the extension for you.
You'll see Log in to poshmark.com (or Log in to poshmark.ca if your Beat'em country is Canada). Press the Open button and log in to Poshmark the way you usually do, in the same browser window. Closet on the other site? Log in there instead: the extension works out which site you're on. Already logged in to Poshmark? You don't need to do anything: it connects within a few seconds.
Connect with your password
In the Beat'em window, choose Password and press Continue.
Under Site, choose the Poshmark site your closet is on: poshmark.com for a US closet or poshmark.ca for a Canadian one. The one that fits your Beat'em country is marked Recommended for you. A site that already has a closet in Beat'em shows Already connected and can't be picked.
Enter the Username and Password you use on Poshmark, then press Connect Poshmark. It can take a little while, because Beat'em is logging in to Poshmark for you.
Poshmark sometimes sends a code by text or email to check it's you. If the window shows Enter Poshmark's code, type the code in and press Verify and connect.
You're done when the window says Poshmark connected. Press Done if you see it. Your closet now shows Connected in Settings → Stores, and your listings start appearing on your Items page, with Importing your listings and a count at the top. Most closets take a few minutes. A closet with thousands of listings can take an hour or more, and you can keep using Beat'em meanwhile.
Have a closet on both sites? Once the first is in, press Add closet next to Poshmark · poshmark.ca (or poshmark.com) under Add a store in Settings → Stores, and follow the same steps for the other site. Each closet keeps its own currency.
Something not right?
"Account already claimed"
"Account already claimed"
Beat'em refused this closet for one of two reasons: it's already connected to a different Beat'em account (a closet can belong to only one), or your workspace already has a different closet on that Poshmark site. Trying again won't change it. Sign in to the Beat'em account that has the closet, or remove the other closet first (see "I connected the wrong Poshmark closet" below).
"Poshmark login failed: …"
"Poshmark login failed: …"
The rest of the message comes from Poshmark itself, usually because the username or password is wrong. Check you can log in on poshmark.com (or poshmark.ca) with the same details, and that you picked the right site in step 2. If you normally log in to Poshmark with Google, Apple or Facebook, you don't have a Poshmark password: use the Chrome extension instead.
"Poshmark asked for an extra check we can't finish from here"
"Poshmark asked for an extra check we can't finish from here"
Poshmark wanted to check you're human, and Beat'em couldn't get past it with your password. Your account is fine. Connect with the Chrome extension on a computer instead: you log in on Poshmark's own page, so the check is yours to tick.
"Poshmark took too long to answer" or "Beat'em is busy connecting other stores right now"

Nothing is wrong with your details. Wait a minute and press Connect Poshmark again.

Click the Beat'em icon in your browser's top right corner and press Connect. If the small window asks you to press Switch instead, the extension is signed in to a different Beat'em account: press Switch.
The extension doesn't connect Poshmark
The extension doesn't connect Poshmark
Make sure you're logged in to poshmark.com (or poshmark.ca) in the same browser window that has the extension, then refresh the Poshmark tab. If it still hasn't connected after 45 seconds, the window says Still nothing after 45 seconds, lists a few things to check and offers Use your password instead.
"… is already connected — log in to the closet you want to add"
"… is already connected — log in to the closet you want to add"
Your browser is logged in to a closet Beat'em already has, so the extension can't tell it apart from the one you want to add. Log out of Poshmark in this browser, log in to the other closet, and it connects within a few seconds.
"Beat'em is linked to @… for poshmark.com, but this browser is logged in to @…"
"Beat'em is linked to @… for poshmark.com, but this browser is logged in to @…"
Beat'em already holds a different closet for that Poshmark site. Log out of Poshmark in this browser and log in as the closet the message names. If you really want to swap closets, remove the old one first (see "I connected the wrong Poshmark closet" below).
The Chrome extension is greyed out
The Chrome extension is greyed out
The extension only works in Chrome, Edge or Brave on a computer, so it's greyed out on a phone, in Safari and in Firefox. Use your password instead, or open Beat'em in Chrome on a computer if you log in to Poshmark with Google, Apple or Facebook.
Poshmark says connected, but my listings aren't showing
Poshmark says connected, but my listings aren't showing
They're probably still coming in. Open your Items page: while it's working, the top says Importing your listings with a count. If Settings → Stores shows Import stopped next to your closet, press Try again.
I connected the wrong Poshmark closet
I connected the wrong Poshmark closet
You can have one closet per Poshmark site, so remove the wrong one first. In Settings → Stores, press ⋯ next to the closet and choose Remove from Beat'em…, then Remove. This deletes that closet's imported items and listings from Beat'em, but nothing changes on Poshmark, and your sales, costs and fees are kept. Then connect the right closet with the steps above.
I got an email: "Reconnect your Poshmark account"
I got an email: "Reconnect your Poshmark account"
Poshmark logged Beat'em out, so sale checks and automations for that closet are paused. Go to Settings → Stores and press Reconnect next to the closet. The Reconnect Poshmark window opens. If the extension is set up in this browser, it goes straight to Log in to poshmark.com: log in there. Otherwise your username and site are already filled in: enter your password and press Connect Poshmark. Log in with Google, Apple or Facebook? Press Reconnect with the Chrome extension under the password box instead. Everything picks up where it left off.
My closet says "Disconnected"
My closet says "Disconnected"
Either Poshmark logged Beat'em out, or someone pressed ⋯ → Disconnect. While it's disconnected, Beat'em doesn't check that closet for sales or run automations there. Press Reconnect next to it in Settings → Stores, as in the email answer above.
Still stuck? Ask Buzz in Beat'em. If Buzz can't sort it out, press Contact support under Buzz's chat box and we'll reply by email, usually within a few hours.
