Credits: how they work
One credit lists one item on every store, once. Everything else is free.
A credit is what you pay Beat'em to list an item. One credit lists one item, once, on as many stores as you like. Everything else in Beat'em is free.
What costs a credit
Listing an item for the first time. The credit is taken when the item's first listing actually goes live on a store. If nothing goes live, nothing is taken. A jacket you list on eBay, Poshmark and Depop in one go costs one credit, not three.
Items you brought in from a store. Listings Beat'em imported from your connected stores haven't been paid for in Beat'em yet. The first time you crosslist one to another store, it takes its one credit. After that it's paid for like any other item.
Relisting is always free. Putting an item back up on the store it came down from never costs a credit, whether you use the Relist button, a Relist automation or the item editor. That includes items you brought in that never used a credit.
Before you publish, the Publish button shows what it will cost, or Free when nothing will be charged.
What's free
Anything you do with an item that's already paid for. Adding it to more stores later is free. So is editing it: pressing Update only changes the listings that are already live. It never creates a new listing, so it never costs a credit.
Everything else. Sorting your photos into items, AI-written drafts, Ask Buzz, saving drafts, importing your stores, relisting, spotting sales and every automation (sharing, offers, follows and relists).
One catch: sorting photos, drafting listings and Buzz only run while you have at least one credit in your account, even though they don't use it up. At zero you'll see You're out of credits — top up to use the AI tools again.
Where credits come from
Welcome crosslists. New accounts start with 500 free welcome crosslists, enough to put a whole closet on your other stores during setup. Each one covers one item, however many stores it goes to, and they're used before any of your credits. The crosslist window shows how many you have left.
Monthly free credits. Every month, Beat'em tops your free credits back up to your monthly allowance: 25 credits on the free plan. Unused free credits don't pile up past that allowance. Click your profile picture to see how many are left this month and when they reset.
Credit packs. Need more? Go to Billing, open Credits and press Buy credits on the pack you want: 50 credits for US$4.99 (CA$6.99), 150 for US$12.99 (CA$18) or 500 for US$34.99 (CA$50). Packs are a one-time purchase, never expire, and stack on top of your monthly allowance. Your monthly credits are used first.
Running low
"Running low" on your balance means you're nearly out, and we'll also email you when you're getting low. Top up on the Billing page before you need to list again.
"You're out of credits for this one. Top up and we'll carry on." on a crosslist's results means your credits ran out partway through. Every item Beat'em could pay for still went up, and nothing was charged for the rest. Top up in Billing, then press Retry on the results page.
At zero, listing new items pauses and the AI tools stop until you top up. Nothing else stops: your items, drafts and automations carry on, and sales are still spotted and taken down from your other stores.
Check your credits
On the Billing page, Credit history shows every credit that came in and went out, and what used it.
Still stuck? Ask Buzz in Beat'em. If Buzz can't sort it out, press Contact support under Buzz's chat box and we'll reply by email, usually within a few hours.
